Check with Andre, he might have an extra one. Also, they show up on eBay in the US occasionally listed in Musical Instruments/Steinberger. I'm trying to get a quote from the fabricator of the last batch for a new order. Ken

OK Folks, We've received the quote from the fabricator for an additional batch of acrylic wall hangers. I need to know how many you are all willing to commit to so I can figure a final price. The fabricator has given prices based on 25, 25 to 50, 50+. My best guess is that they will run about $50US(25 Sterling) plus shipping. Please let me know over the next week who is on board and how many and I'll see if we can get this done. There has been some interest from the Steinberger community and I'll be doing the same thing there. Ken

While we are at rebuilding these things - could the bottom end be made a bit wider to accommodate Status' bigger tuner bay? This way we could prevent the bass from resting on the tuners.

This would be great. if they could be made wider so the weight went on the strap anchors I would definitely take 2.
But can the design be tweaked? :)

Andre was kind enough to bring a wall mounting over for me... Looks lovely!
Anyway I showed it to my engineer friend and he immediately said "you're not planning to put one of your basses on that are you?"
It turns out that, yes for a very light Steinberger it would hold BUT for something much heavier, like my Status, There was a major flaw in so far as the 'bend' in the perspex at the bottom was a big weakness. My friend said he wouldn't risk putting one of my beautiful basses on it!!
SO, I'm asking him to design something out of aluminium which can then be anodized in nice colours. Prices should be about the same.
Just thought I would let you know!!

hey moo, my amber-moo is hanging there just fine, but i must admit, she is a feather ;)
i could have let them made in a sister-company in austria, exactly like that one, just a bit stiffer and made the way, that it doesnt stant on the tuners. but still in hi-def plexi.
even with lighting inside the plexi :|??

just kidding, no its very easy, push her up 2 inches, pull her one inch against you and then slide her down et voilà, she is in your arms. :D like in real life ....

Looks fantastic!!
I must reiterate my point... The wall mounting will absolutely hold any bass but there is an intrinsic weakness in the bend at the bottom. My friend said that he wouldn't risk it because it's a weakness that could give at any time!
Just so you know!
Does look great though!... Might put my beaten up Series II #94 on mine!! If it falls.... It couldn't get much more beaten up!!

amber-moo did not like the place there, she moved to a warmer place ;)
and she hangs there in a 45degree now, the tuners say uff ;) nothing can give now at anytime.... moo (exept maybe the painting in the left ;))
