I must reiterate my point... The wall mounting will absolutely hold any bass but there is an intrinsic weakness in the bend at the bottom. My friend said that he wouldn't risk it because it's a weakness that could give at any time!

yep , i can picture in my head what it might look like . would i be right in saying that once the mould was made rob could make as many or few as he wanted.
a matching wall hanger for my KB how cools that??? i would be happy to pay £100 or so.

This is something I will be looking into when I get back.
I'm looking at an anodized aluminium which could be any colour you wish!!
Should come in well below £100... I'm hoping more like below £50!
I'll be getting on with this end of Feb!

Yeah looks real cool id have a couple,havent even got a kingbass yet:( but its only a matter of time ill be on the hunt soon , but im going to enjoy my new empathy :D that ive just bought off james for a few months first,picking it up friday but this week seems to be dragging.

Just my 2 cents (pence) here...... I've used the Lexan version of the wall-mount for years now (as "Beany" owns) and even sold a few extra I had to prominent Status forum members. According to Ned Steinberger, who developed these as dealer displays of his much heavier XL and XM series, there were never any known failures of this wall-mount system. Don't underestimate the validity of polycarbonates. Are there better ideas? Probably so, carbon graphite would be nice and I too would buy them. This one is as close to invisible for display of a beautiful instrument as humanly possible and has never failed....... KWS

Look for it as a nice second prize in the raffle.
This is a first generation N2H wall mount designed specifically for all Statii. Constructed of precision cut aluminum, carefully finished by hand, then powder coated to prevent oxidization. The lower support is designed for the 2 strap buttons to support the weight of the bass. There are 2 screw supports to keep things tidy.
Although merely a prototype, this is a quality mount which should bring years of satisfaction and be a substantial method of keeping your Status handy for use.
I will keep you posted on the final product which will include many revisions.

Yes, you probably could hang yourself from this mount, but I recommend it to be used for Statii.....B)

I hate to say it, since I know how much hard work goes into design and manufacture... but it's a bit of an ugly-looking thing.
The idea to use aluminium is great... as is the idea of a lower support... but it's just a bit 'blocky'.. and that logo... ackk no!
Is there any padding... at both the neck and lower support?
