Very sparkley Andre. Never tried one but I have heard they are great basses. Wonder why Flea has drifted away from them recently.

I said I'll only play on Status basses ;)
but the GAS attack hit me a month ago with the Logabass 5 strings, made by Sanox under LEDUC license. That's a different but a very nice bass, bartolini pickups and preamp, through neck.

The body is very nice though. A bit like the always lovely Sei Flamboyant.

I attach 2 pics of my beloved Alembic MK Deluxe with a beautiful cocobolo top and back. It features front and side led's fitted by Simsled. Enjoy!
Ciao!

Very nice looking bass you have there!

Mind you I think I would be very nervous about forgetting the pointy bottom and banging it into the floor or my foot. :o

Hi Status,
yes, this is a very dangerous feature indeed..., but I take it rarely with me to gigs. Also for weight reasons as this beauty weighs more than 5kg. My main gigging axes remain definitely my 2 Statii!
Ciao!

I have never been a great lover of the Wal look but having had a go on Trev's I can say that they are great to play.

I think I like your finish better than mine. I love my bass, but every time I get it out it reminds me of my grandmothers furniture!

Now that I think of it, I did have to call my grandmother "Your Majesty". I don't know why, because she was a scullery maid!

LeFay Midas 5 ltd. edition next to Status Matrix with Mark Kings autograph.
The Lefay is a German bass from a crazy but genious luthier. The guy from Mothers Finest used to play LeFay a lot. It's a headless with head.. :-) There are no tuners on the headstock.... 4! pickups and a lot of push-pull's. This machine is mean!!! And beautifull :-)))
