Level 42 Kiel. Incredible new Kingbass sound. Mahogany body + J pickups and it's deep power sound. What I said earlier in this forum...forget it!

Nothing wrong with Pete's drumming. He's got a totally different style to Gary. It the same as comparing Gary to Phil Gould, again totally different. Check him out here!! ;)

One thing I have noticed about Pete Ray Biggins is the sound of his cymbals. He uses Sabian cymbals, whereas Gary and Phil have been longtime Zildjian guys. Being a former Zildjian endorsee myself, I have to say that I think Pete's cymbals sound a bit thin. I've never liked Sabian cymbals for that very reason. By the sounds of things his kit is also tuned higher than Gary's, so it really is a sound thing here. New drummer!! New Sound!! ;)

hmm, but not the set I want too see when I see them later this year. they did a great old school set when I saw them last and I was hoping for more of the same. this is more of a mix over the years.

he signed a laminated pic of my moo-wood kingbass and was really impressed about the wood top. told him about the satin neck, seemed to be completly new to him ;)

the new bass is very lightweight like mine. the cherry one with the green leds sounds a bit warmer imo. anyhow, both stunning instruments, was cool holding one of them.
MK was supernice and hanged the bass even over my daughters shoulders :) (sir andré, pls pic)
