Hi All,
Just to let you know that I posted a few photographs and some details of the Level 42, 30th Anniversary bass on the Status web-site.

This is Mark's favourite mixture of KingBass details and he seems to be really pleased with the way it turned out.

More info to follow....

If anyone has any good photographs of Mark using the bass live recently I would love to see them... or are they already posted? I'll check...

Also, please don't confuse this bass with any Status 30th Anniversary bass I may get finished for next year. I made this model for Level 42 / Mark's celebrations and am really please with the result.

Regards, Rob.

I have a suggestion for everyone jazzed by the new Kingbass - sell me your Mark II! This one does indeed look lovely, but I didn't get on well with the shape of the MkI body (I've had two of them). I'm hoping that the larger MkII will suit me better!

That's the bit that really interests me.... if it's an all graphite S2 shaped bass available as a headed 5 string I'll order one whatever the cost!

That flamed maple with amber sunburst is simply "STUNNING!!!" Need to talk to Dawn about prices!! I wouldn't want the Level 42 anniversary logo on the bendwell though, as I think that's a bit sacred in regards to MK's own two models!! Beautiful basses!!!!!! () :D Here's a pic of the man himself in action with one of the new basses for you Rob!!

Great looking bass !
I've always found smaller body nicer than the MKII's.
