Stella Stork, on the left, is a bit nervous.
At least she'll have 18-20 weeks to get herself into condition.

That's quite a bit of clues, it will be headless and fretless, oh and natural graphite color.
I know, I feel very Sherlock today B)

But you know what, I know what is it, Volney sent me the final specs by mistake, and the down payment, sorry bro there will be a little delay in the delivery 'till you don't pay again :o

I didn't know carbon graphite grew on trees. :|

Yes, back in the old days it was picked from trees, just as you imagine.
Unfortunately, bicycle frames, golf clubs, jet aircraft and hi-tech car fenders have decimated the Graphite Groves through out the UK.

Fortunately for us, Rob Green devised a discrete indoor hydroponic growing process, with drip lines and high intensity grow lights. The result is truly the finest Carbon Graphite necks on the planet.

The stork made a graceful landing today, and left me with a special treat.
Another amazing build from our Guru in Colchester.

The top is Bocote wood, from Central America. I think it is basically a high contrast rosewood of sorts. It reminds me of a piece of cinnamon toast.
The flat-wounds play great, and any tone is doable.
Rob suggested the top configuration, where is goes over the through neck. He did a beautiful job.
I asked for the custom fingerboard dots, which turned out great as well.

...and a distant cousin to keep her company.
I'm set.

...and for those who appreciate backsides.
