Its my bass...plus LEDs.

Very good choice. So fast it should have speed limiters fitted.

That's exactly what I would order, except I probably wouldn't spend the cash on LEDs (my Status has LEDs because it came with them - very neat, but I do not do live shows in dark places and so they don't really get used). I suppose the only change I would make is to get blue ones with the natural, but I am just not a green guy...

My only concern about ordering the Streamline 5 was dropping from 19mm to 18mm at the bridge ... I really couldn't handle 16.5mm!

What's your wait-time?
I look pretty young but I'm just back-dated (yeh!).

They are saying up to 16 weeks. So that is late March really.

2 weeks down and I'm still mentally excited!

Somewhere between 14 and 18 weeks to go!!

You need to pace yourself, mate. If you maintain this level of excitement for another 16 weeks you'll drop dead three days before the courier arrives ...

Incidentally, in order to prepare myself for life with a Streamline I bought a Westone "The Rail", a bass I've always wanted to try. The unusual ergonomics gave me a great excuse to get one (though Dawn was horrified when I suggested any similarity whatsoever).

Trouble is, it's such a totally 80's bass that I can't stop playing Duran Duran and Heaven 17, Turning Japanese and 99 Red Balloons.

I'm now looking for a mullet wig and a white suit with sleeves I can roll up. :o

Very roughly half way on the wait! (well, the quick end of the estimate anyway!!)

I'm still mentally excited.

And I know that when I get it, I'll play the same old dodgy licks!! :D

Rob surprised me early with mine, as for playing the same old dodgy licks. John Paul Jones once said that "you should try to get the best instrument you can afford as there isnothing worse than trying to make good music on a bad instrument." If an instrument can lift up your plaing, it is a Status

Already toying with the idea of a second one, have to figure out how to slide it by the wife...................

I'd never get a 2nd one in at the moment. I just picked up a Modulus VJ!

I am such a graphite whore.
