It is my first Kingbass and I was slightly concerned with the balance and the holding vs the S2. I have to say that those who say that the low E seems far away , it's kind of true. I have no problem to reach it (I'm 6.0) but visually somehow I need to adjust. In my case the higher register of the fretboard seems where my hands want to natually fall, but it only took me minutes to get going without (more than usual :D) mistakes and by the end of my session today I almost felt at home.

I couldn't play much yet with the parametric EQ. But I did try quite a bit the switch for the coil and that alone produces a variety of tones that is quite amazing. It seems that having the BiMax pickup mounted is definitely a wise choice these days. You can switch easity.

I'm also very happy to come back to 4 strings. I like the simplicity (I cannot say that "simple" is my philosophy having orders such an EQ-beast!).
I loved the 16.5 spacing and the 32" scale. Very happy to have plugged the trigger on these as well. I recognize it's not everybody cup of tea, but it works well in my case. I'm not a slapper but I tried a bit of it on the Kingbass today and it was not worse (not better either!) than my usual.
