So just had a mate die (morbid I know) but it got me to thinking, what do we (Statii Members) do with our basses if something happens to us? I know I bought my S2 to own for life so it wont be sold while I still am. I have said to the miss's 'sell all my shite if anything happens' but my S2?

If Rob had his museum/showroom I might leave it to them, but will they still be around as a business? I just don't know, I haven't got kids and I don't think the cats would be interested. Charity? don't thinks so, cremated with it? Fuck that's sacrilege, the smell of burning graphite?

So, don't all start with the you can leave it to me...most of you are old farts anyway:D
So c'mon what do we/I do? It maybe up to Andre to open a swiss statii museum.

hahahaha

Has to be thought about!!

For me, 2 of them go to my brother and they are the 1986 Series 2000 that I bought new in 1986 and the moo wood KB which was my 40th birthday prezzie from him. These will stay with him and then his boys. I've told them I'll haunt them until they go mad if they sell them! As for the rest... I've left them to Todd and he can sort the bloody mess out!!! They should be available for people to see and enjoy. I know he will take very good 'gay' care of them!

:D

The FPPR Series 2000 is half Andrés so he has to decide which half he wants before Todd get's his chainsaw out!

I would like to leave at least one of my basses to Mark King.

No, not that one, the other one, the damn painter that keeps coming up on the american Ebay when you do the search.

With a name like that you deserve to inherit a bass.

I dreamt I was at the Bass Guitar Show in London earlier this year and in that dream I met a guy who called himself moo. There was another one called Andre as well. Is that imaginary? :D
