Can anyone please advise if a Series 2000 with no serial number is likely to be dodgy? I've been after one forever, seen one for sale, and the guy says there is no serial number, so I'm a bit wary. Please help!

There really are NO copies of Status basses. It may just be that the top string retainer was changed at a later date and there was no s/n stamped onto it!
As long as it's a graphite body, you should be OK!
