Hi all, I've just spent a few hours trying a variety of status basses down in Colchester and I am pretty set on an S2. Question is bolt on, or neck through? Any comments/opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks, it is as I suspected, a matter of taste, though I do like the look of the the through necks.

I think its also a cost consideration, as most thru necks cost more.

Yes, Trev's right. Neck throughs carry a considerable cost premium.
