Could someone please post some pix of a Status 5-string MM style neck?

Does anyone know what the exact neck dimensions for this neck are?

I gotta check one out as I am assembling a parts "jazz/mm" style 5 string bass.

Hi Jay, if you email Rob or Dawn i'm sure they will give you the dimension for the neck.

That's a sweet Stingray, especially with that fine neck on it!

So f'in awesome!!! I am surprised that the technical specs for that neck are not on the site, unless I simply can't find them! :)

Are all of the Status replacement necks based on the normal stock dimensions of the traditional J, P, and MM necks?

I also want to know if that 5 MM neck would fit perfectly on a 5 Jazz body?

Rob just sent me the dimensions:

The width at the heel is 2.75" with a heel depth of 1.10"

The top-nut width is 1.78".

The depth at the 1st fret is .78" and at the 12th fret is .83".

The back profile on the neck is slightly flatter and slimmer than a regular MM5 neck.

The fingerboard is also slightly flatter than a regular MM neck. It is the same as all our Status basses. Frets are medium / jumbo, the same as we use on our basses.

Yeah, that's one huge technical issue that I need to avoid. That's why if I go with a Wilkins, Nordy, or Valenti body, I'll need to make sure that they can route/modify as appropriate.

God, if Status simply had a jazz 5 string replacement neck, I wouldn't need to endure all of this specifications misery!! Or, if they built a retro-active 5, I'd get one of those! :)
