Had this bass about 5 years and bought it new direct from Status, its in Burr Madrone and has nice pretty lights ! This bass is the best I've ever owned and I'll never part with it, Its also my main Bass. To add a bit to the story about collecting this bass from Status, when I went down to the factory to pick it up, I noticed a couple of Buzzard 1s in the rack, Rob said that they were for John Entwhistle and that Rob was taking them down to him the next day at a Who gig in London, and, I got a chance to play one of them, the action was unbeliveably low ! it was a great experience. Haven't seen a bass with that top wood before. Looks very nice, almost has an opally look. If there is such a word.
