Heavy gauge strings on graphite necks without truss-rod

Hello! I've just got the Stealth I (no truss-rod) and I'm using it with 030-090 strings. I'd like to try 045 or even 050 on it to see how it goes... but I'm a bit worried about putting so much tension on a neck that doesn't have a truss rod. Anyone here uses hi tension strings? What happens? I hope the neck will stay straight and steady... but I don't want to risk to ruin it... I don't have experience with this topic. Thanx in advance.

Thickest I ever had on my S2000 was 60-115 and it was fine after a good setup again... Though headed/headless may make a difference to the tension experienced.

060?! My God... you needed assistence to pluck them? :D
My problem with 030 is that they are great for slapping but aren't very "meaty" in fingerstyle... it's an obvious issue. 040 are a good compromise, but I miss a bit the big, fat bottom of thick strings. ;)

I now use 25-40-60-80-100 and find it great for everything, just turn the bass up a bit if you need the extra bottom end.

On sixers the strings gauge choice isn't so wide... yes, maybe 040-100 is the right choice... we'll see! :)

I have 1 with 30s and 1 with 40s.

They both work great.
