Ciao a tutti,

just to share a pic of my "Black Beauty" here, she is an old lady and dates back to 1984/85...Rob unfortunately has no records of this bass. I got it in 1995 as my first Status bass, it was completely re-furbed in 2003 and Rob fitted blue front and side led's that were prototypes at the time. Then sold it to a friend of mine, but regretted it soon after. After several years I got the chance to get it back last year, now it won't go anywhere and stay with me. During the years the bass was not with me, the old lady was used and got some dings and dongs as well as cracks in the lacquer here and there...now I have decided to send it to Rob again to become e real beauty being completely re-sprayed.

Sorry for the crappy pic, will make some decent ones soon and post them here.

What do you guys think, would you keep the colour black or shall I go for a different one? FFPR maybe? Very tempted...

in the end I decided to go for the respray in FPPR after having seen these pics that Rob sent me a week ago showing an old (or new??) Series II that Chris Woltstenholme owns...
