Hello everybody, and first of all I wish you all a great and groovy 2016!

So I recently bought this awesome Status, but im not sure what the type is:

As you can see, she's been played (a lot!) and the serial number is 1590, so that should be an indication for the age of this bass, but I have to say that I've got no clue where that numer lays in the Status timeline.

The guy I bought it off told me he was a friend of John Edwards, and that he signed it for him. He does have pictures of himself with Rhino himself, so I do believe him. But even without the autograph, this is one awesome bass!

I was wondering if there was anyone here who knows if I'm correct in assuming this is indeed an S3000 (and maybe there is a huge Status Quo fan who remembers this bass or knows his autograph, although I'm not counting on that happening :P )
Currently playing:
- Fender Jazz Bass 60's Roadworn Fiesta Red
- Sterling by Musicman Ray 34 Limited Edition White

Status 3000. American walnut by the looks of it. Those white knobs would have to be binned if it were mine. I have the same model, recently refurbished. serial 066

Thanks for the reply BLUNDERTHUMBS! I'm about to place an order for some new strings on the Status website, and when I do, some new black knobs are coming my way too..
Would love to see a pic of yours, can I find it here on the forum?
