Just purchased a pair of 'J' type status pickups from Ebay. The seller states they are passive pickups. I bought them to replace some worn pickups on my Status 3000 will they be the same.?? I thought all the 'J' type Status pickups were passive. I asked if he knew which model they came off but he didn't know. Any help would be appreciated.

Emailed Rob and he tells me the thin red wire from each pickup goes to battery + and the screened grey wire is the usual live & earth for the output. Happy days and thanks to Rob for a quick reply. ;-)
