Another immaculate guitar and there's that JD again, sneaking into the picture 
) I do love the Retroglide.
So I was wondering, are there any significant sound differences with the metal pick up covers in comparison with the ones on your other kingbass? A mate always used to take the metal covers off the PAFs fitted to any Gibsons he bought as he said the pick up response was better. Just wondered if this was potentially true on a bass as well?
