Kingbass losing volume?

Hi all , I'm having an issue with my kingbass. It's keeps cutting its volume down to about half? But only after about an hours playing then fine the next day???

Hi Hen Barn. Can you confirm this was the battery? I had a similar problem last night during a gig, lost volume in the second half. I muted the amp, unplugged the bass, re-plugged in and the volume came back.
