I have some nasty buzzing on my favourite status. It is on the A string both at the open position (Zero fret - although appears to be buzzing on 1st fret) and when playing a D, also on the A string - but in that instance the buzzing is from behind the fretted note if I mute the string in the Db position while playing the D, it stops.

It is an early non-truss rod Energy (graphite).

Any ideas? How much would a re-fret cost? [/anticipating pain in the wallet area]

Have you tried new strings, or have you just changed strings? sometime you can get a duff set!

I think you best call Rob for a price, it would be interesting to know what he says.
