Due to the constant spamming, I have now changed the site settings to require Admin validation of each registration.
Hopefully this will avoid spam a little more than today!

Actually in 48 hours we've already deleted another 4 spammers before they could post ... sorry about the LED torches Trev ... :D
It's a real problem on Basschat this year - spammers are up over 2000%! The new forum upgrade has zapped almost all of them though!

Indeed it's a pain and more and more forums are activating "Admin member activation" options which does help! Nowadays quite easy to detect spam email addresses or IP's !
