I played the Blacksmith @ NAMM. Trust me on this.... you don't want to stand in front of this amp when your playing, it could probably blast you into the 20th row!

I have the new RH750 since two days, Mark King's actual amp. This is also very loud and is practically the same than the Blacksmith except the power amp section....
Of course not for the WHO band but for my second band MARTIGAN......

I just watched that Uriah Duffy demoing that giant new bass rig from TC, he has some chops!
I recently tried the BH 500, nice amp I have to say, the spectracomp thing is nice too. After playing a 1x15 for many years now I have just gone back to a 4x10, I forgot how much definition you get. The TC stuff is nice but sadly a bit pricey. Do I think it's worth it, I suppose yes, but I am happy with my sound, power and volume. I have had many of the so called bass specific manufacturers amps over the years, some good, some not so. SWR was nice, EBS very nice, Hartke not so, however I didn't own a Status at the point of owning these so may have stuck with them. I use what might be regarded as shite now but as I say, been round the block and it works very well for me!

Well,
the RH750 is gorgeous.
But I am a bit disappointed. I received brandnew TC cabs on Thursday and one is not working and the other is damaged..... :-(

Hi Senmen, yes I agree it really is and would love one, light, good looking and powerful (a bit like me!) Sorry to hear about your cabs, poor quality control or transit damage?

Danny,
no transit damage. The packaging was perfect.
I got a RS210 and an RS212 from them. I think the 212 was one of the older ones with that strange finish which cracks off just you look at it and there was a big part of around 6cms length already broken off. As for the 210 the lower speaker is perfect but the upper speaker is distorting and hissing......
I am waiting now for their solution.....

I had similar trouble with T.E. last year.
Twice a defective amplifier - two broken speakers. A footswitch with defective LED's.
I was very disappointed.
After five weeks of back and forth I was really angry.:@
I've returned all the stuff.
Now I play "Glockenklang". Very clean, very powerful, very defined sound...
Certainly not everyone's thing.
But I'm happy like I never was before :D

At that time I lost a gig because of this as my old rig had already been sold.
Oliver, I hope that you may achieve a satisfactory result with TC.
I know how annoying it is.
