Hey guys.

Would any of you know whether the new string retainers for headless Statii will fit on the S2000? I'm wanting to get a black one but I'm not sure if they'll have the same screws and width, etc.

Ah good stuff - the only concern really was the method of securing, since the S2000 uses hex-head screws and the new ones (or, going by what my kingbass has) uses 3 screws.

I guess I could just try and put the Kingbass one on the S2000! :O

Actually, the black ones (which I want to get) are actually different to the gold ones.

Arrived today, needless to say it doesn't fit :P

I'd even emailed Rob and he said it should be fine :O Anywho, all the dimensions seem fine but the screw holes are not in the same place on the current ones as they are on my S2000 neck.

Have emailed Dawn about getting a custom job

Doesnt seem to be a whole lot of activity here at the minute, so I'll post some very minor news :P

After many emails to and from Rob - He's going to customise one of the newer models to fit the S2000 and re-laquer it in black :D

Now that's good service.

New retainer arrived back from Status after the modifications and it fits beautifully :)
I'll get some pics of the new retainer + the black strings up at some stage, probably tomorrow as I'm not working till 3 B)
