I'm curious; Are there any sort of markings inside the controls cavity or maybe under the pickups? For instance my '63 P-Bass has the date and Leo Fender's initials penciled in beneath the pickups or under the controls. Various markings of this nature can also be found on Rickenbackers.

I've never had reason to dismantle my Statii so I really don't know.:)

I have never noticed any.

I feel compelled to check the innards now.

No obvious markings, but I'm going to change the LED to a bright blue one :)

Edit: It turns out the led was 5V and blew instantly, back to dull red :(

There is a company called Mouser you can order from online. If anyone has the LEDs you need, other than Status of course, they'd have them. Great company to deal with I've found.

Hehe - thanks, I can get the ones I'd need easily enough in Maplin over here in the UK :) I have white ones that would be fine, but that could look a bit odd
