I've just bought me a Status series II.
The serialnumber is 288.
Can anyone please tell me wich year this bass was build and what the listprice was at that time.

Mark started with earlier Series IIs, the ones with the first generation GMT pick-ups. The ones with the exposed poles.

Referring to your Series II #288: I have just bought #142 and it should date back to the end of 1984 so I guess your #288 should be from 1986. As Danny suggested you may contact Dawn at Status and ask her if she has some more details of your bass.
