Does anyone have any pics of side LED's, both on and off? I want to get these for the dark stages, but the problem I've had in the past is when it's really bright (like an outdoor mid-day show) I can't see the LED's at all. I mentioned this to Rob, and he said it wouldn't be a problem as there are both the LED's AND side fret markers - I just haven't been able to find any pics.

Nevermind - I shoulda looked harder - some great pics on the Status-Graphite site stock basses - I was just looking at the wrong ones!

Once upon a time there was a purple custom colour. Never used as a graphite tint - has anyone ever seen a Status with this finish?

I really want one in that colour. Rob does not offer it any more - shame!!

When I checked with Rob just a few weeks ago he said he'll use any color I want. Drop him an email and see what he says.

Transparent tints are available in cherry red, aqua blue, honey amber and leaf green

Custom transparent tints on Stealth or Streamline models £ 65 (£ 75)
Custom transparent tints on S2, KingBass T-Bass models £ 82 (£ 95)
Custom sunburst colours on any bass £ 104 (£ 120)

Custom gloss polyester lacquer on bolt-on body instead of standard satin polyurethane lacquer £ 304 (£ 350)

Does anyone have a sample of an Amber tint, especially on a Streamline?
I really need to make up my mind between the amber and green tint!

i have never found a full amber tint status, other than one of the buzzards that was made for john entwistle, and there really not any good photos of that, so i would suggest you buy an amber one and post some photos.....

green looks awsome though..

I do a lot of pit work with my Streamline - Mine has both front and side white LED's. They're invaluable in the dark, especially if you have to move around a lot during a given piece.

As for playing in bright sunlight, you can see the dots below the side LED's in daylight, anyway.
