Sorry to hear your circumstances with eBay. If you can get over to Bristol take the bass into Waghorn Guitars, just around the corner from Queens Square - top guys and they always used to do a cracking job on my Status.

So, after being properly "done over" on Ebay, I am now the proud owner of a beautiful, but unusable, 4 string Energy. It has a jack socket that cuts out if the jack is moved even slightly, and a volume pot which has serious noise issues. I've sussed out which parts I need to ordrer from Status, all I need now is to find somebody reliable in the Somerset area to do the repairs. I did think about taking it to Mansun's in Exeter, but it's a bit of a drive, especially if I have to leave it and collect it at a later date so I'm looking to see if any members here can recommend anybody?
So over to you chaps?
