A couple of views of the ramp I've made for it.

Nice bass Rich, another beautiful almost 3 dimensional top.

The ramp is a good idea. I saw Gary Willis in a bass worksop and he was explaining the thinking behind it. Certainly made a lot of sense and stops you digging in too much.

I think this is mainly for players who like to play over the pickup. You have a place to rest your thumb and you have something under your fingers without having too much of a punchy sound when you are right over the pickup ... but I may be wrong ;)
