Hi!
a friend sent me these pics and serial number and wanted identification..
the serial number is 2488
i believe its shark maybe?

I reckon it's a Series 1 from the mid nineties:

Quite a nice bass but maybe lacking the oomph of a fully graphite necked bass.

I'd agree with Rich on this, a Series 1. It differs from the Eclipse, which has a one piece body, by having the exotic face wood.

Wooden necked Statii seem to go for between £350 and £500 depending on condition. I bought my '98 Electro for £461 if that helps. It is in A1 condition.
