I'm thinking of ordering some Fretfx led's for my Status energy matrix. The problem is I'm not sure what scale measurement my neck is. On the order form it says measure from the nut to the middle of the fret wire at 12th fret then double that to get the scale length. In my case the measurement is 17 and 1/4 inches making the scale 34 and 1/2". If I measure from the zero fret to the middle of the 12th fret it is 17" which would make it 34" scale. Which is the right measurement ???:|

It's the Zero Fret that determines the scale length not the nut. Here's a link that shows the Energy as a 34" scale:

BTW, I've used FretFX LED's and they work quite well, just remember to reverse the battery when you're done.

Thanks dreambass. I suppose the zero fret is taking the place of the nut in theory. Had a look at the link you posted and mine is a much older version of the Energy than the one shown.
Thanks anyway your help is much appreciated.;)
