Quote from the Status Graphit FAQs

STRING HEIGHT :

I generally set the string height on my basses up by 'feel' so there are no fixed heights but they would be about like this :
Bottom of G-string to 24th fret... about 3.0mm
Bottom of D-string to 24th fret... about 3.5mm
Bottom of A-string to 24th fret... about 4.0mm
Bottom of E-string to 24th fret... about 4.5mm

String height is always a compromise between clarity and fret buzz... sustain and the strings choking against the frets. It will always depend on your playing style and personal preferences.

Usually the saddle set up should not have to be touched (*usually) as the only real contributing factor to changes in action are neck relief.
This happens as a result of tempurature or humidity changes, or, if some has been fiddling with the saddles to "tweak" in their own preference.
My advice would be to first make sure the neck is set to proper spec before getting serious about adjusting the bridge.

Ulimately, if you can get the bass to Status for a proper set up, telling Sir Rob your preferences, you will have the bass playing experience you want for sure!
4 Asians, 2 Brits, 1 French and also some basses
