Hmmm... interesting. My MacBook (and my wife's MacPro) get really hot in certain places on the case... so does that mean there's a chance the graphite would warp?

yep both my macbook and MBP go get a tad warm, though i think the newest ones run a bit cooler with the new graphic chips in them, but i could be wrong.

I would be very surprised they would do this because to save such a small amount of weight and ADD cost to the computer might not be wise!

Also, dont forget carbon fibre has properties that give it strength in "one direction" when constructed in a thin manner. Unlikely feasable for that application.
