I suppose this bass is ergonomically similar to your status's, never goes out of tune, has layered maple neck and I think an ebony fretboard, finished in metallic black, has the drop lever on the low E, these basses seem to be a bit few and far between, Its the fender Custom shop, although most people associate these basses with slap and they are great slapping basses, you can play any style with them, with its active and passive positions knob you can get some good tones out of her, its in very good conditiion, just had neck adjusted and new strings put on, not sure year built think its around 89, check out vail johnson stu hamm on you tube, if you want anymore pictures can send, like £700 ono i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn249/soggs/Picture081.jpgi306.photobucket.com/albums/nn249/soggs/Picture082.jpgi306.photobucket.com/albums/nn249/soggs/Pii306.photobucket.com/albums/nn249/soggs/Picture073.jpgi306.photobucket.com/albums/nn249/soggs/Picture080.jpg

Hi,

I have the same bass and was wondering if there is any special technique to change strings because my fingers and thumb f***s up when I'm winding the wheel while holding the lose string end tightly. Please Help
