Hi all
I'm new to statii.com and just ordered my first status. A smartbass 5-string with dark green finish and green front LEDs. I'm so excited! can't wait to hold it in my hands. I also asked Rob if it is possible to send me some progress photos of the bass but got no answer yet
I also own a Warwick Corvette $$ and a Sandberg Basic Ken Taylor.
I've been playing bass for about 5 years now. I also played acoustic-guitar for 10 years. I got several band projects (local jazz-band, several coverrock-bands) in my current band

Alex, good call on the Smartbass and on having LEDs fitted. I wish my Status had LEDs as I think they are really cool.
Good luck with the band projects and the songwriting. Keep us informed of progress.
You English is a lot better than my German.

I've got my eyes on a series II, headless and I'm yet to decide on a finish. I'm also looking to see if I can get the 32" scale neck. So many options!

I'm actually going for a bass they have in stock which is pretty much what I had in mind. Once the cash has been handed over I'll post a pic or two. BTW, if I had children to sell then I would. Filthy little things!

Well, it's been paid for and should be shipped on Monday. It's actually the last headless SII in the stock basses section of the website. Turns out it wasn't sold. It is now!
