Well, to be fair, he was at his peak of "agression" bass playing wise, which makes a huge difference IMO. The sound is cool, but the main reason I have a beef with the JD is that it never was staying in tune, which is obvious when you hear him playing in a band situation. It's always nice to hear him playing "dry", which is a rarity. My favourite is the clip of him noodling the rushes at the end of "the Peer".

Not sure who here is on twitter, but if you are a King fan, he is very active on there, as is his miss's, daughter oh and Mike Lindup. Actually so is Phil the old drummer. It's not everyone's cup of tea. If you wan't to follow me I'm @BassBaylis
