Just curious if anyone has tried out the Ashdown Superfly amp? King picks up a Superfly 31 July 2006 www.ashdownmusic.com/news/smallimages/mksuperfly.jpg When Mark King checked out Ashdown's Superfly portable programmable bass amp last week he immediately declared it to be 'excellent' and ordered a stripped down, 7lb version complete with new album artwork to carry with him in the pocket of his gig bag. http://www.ashdownmusic.com PS. Someone looks amazed Grin

Looks cool. May try to find one when I am going round the music shops in London tomorrow. Cool

I haven't tried it but I've seen it. And, god, this one is tiny... I needed my reading glasses to distinguis the different tiny buttons. It looks cool in the magazine ads, but in real life it is very small and not really cool (anymore).

On my tour round the music shops of London I couldn't find one anywhere which was a bit of a pain. I would have liked to try one out as I am in the market for a new amp/cabs or a combo and that was one of my options. Leaning towards an Eden Nemesis combo at the moment but need to try one out first. Knowing me I'll end up with something completely different! Shock

Thanks for the feedback rologica, here they are only available on order so can't play with one!

The Gallery in Camden had one in a couple of days back. That display is pretty small though.

Not a good combination with my big fingers then. Sad

Im sure it comes with some wand-like accessory for the chubby fingered bassists.
