Quite a few nice basses there... the one with the Washburn seems to be a tad optimistic, though, huh? Grin

The 4000 seems a much better buy to me.

Any ideas what the stealth is worth being it is the older model? Any idea how it would compare to an S2? I am still regretting not buying Status's headless empathy amonth back, that looked a beaut.

How about this bogus one that I've been following? http://cgi.ebay.com/STATUS-BASS-GUITAR-FOUR-STRING_W0QQitemZ7397686403QQcategoryZ4713QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I e-mailed the seller but I see she's still posted. Riis Va. Beach, USA

NO WAY: http://cgi.ebay.com/MINIATURE-GUITAR-STATUS-QUO-RHINO-BASS_W0QQitemZ7395580330QQcategoryZ68178QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem "Please note this wonderful miniature instrument is a replica, so cannot physically be played even though it looks so real." My bet is that Chuck Uchida will pick this gem up as soon as he knows about it!! It would be a great addition to his bar!!! Smile

Sorry mate but you missed a treat. It played beautifully and sounded great. Couldn't work out why it took so long to sell. Maybe the post-Christmas malaise was to blame as nothing has been selling for good prices on ebay recently. I would have thought the Stealth would compare favourably with a Series 2. The red tinted one looks lovely and I would have it in a heartbeat if the funds were available. Sad

And another, maybe I could live without the high b and reduce to a 5 string? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STATUS-GRAPHITE-SERIES-2-BASS-GUITAR-5-STRING_W0QQitemZ7398278970QQcategoryZ4713QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Looks like the stealth price is also creeping up from its low start price....

That Series 2 5 string has the older pre-amp. It is still good but not, IMHO, as good as the Board 301 fitted to the later models. I reckon £950 is a bit steep for it given the fact that the hardware has a bit o tarnishing and think £750 to £800 would be nearer the mark.
