Hi guys,anyone have a Series II or Series 2000 with GMT old style 'open pole' pickups for sale?I have recently been made redundant by a large electronics specialist ( hi de hi),and need to cheer myself up.Thanks,Paul.

They are not very common. Haven't seen one for sale for a little while!

Bass Direct has a Series 2000 (Not open pole though):

Thanks Garbo 28.Bought no.#48 off reverb,still not open pole but a good oldie with fat neck and blue tint.It has a dodgy bridge plate on it though,looks like a washburn/status plate.I've seen this actual bass with the original plate on either Talkbass or Basschat.The plate was the old one with -The Status Bass Series 2000- engraved on it.I was wondering if anyone knew the location of the original plate?Cheers mate,I will post photos of this bass and my Series II #351 when the 2000 arrives,thursday/friday.Al si thi,Paul.
