Funny like they keep going back and forth with body size first and pick-ups now. I wonder if the new electronic has something to do with going back to humbuckers.

MK has mentioned on several occasions that he was working with Rob on parametric EQ. Looking at this bass it is loaded with pots so this is probably it. It has more controls on it than I would know what to do with it (Stops song half way to get instruction manual out :D)

If you could split the pickup output this would be better than a series II ( alembic that is)
