a few days ago I got a Series 1 6-string with graphite through-neck on ebay. Now I think about, if it´s possible to build this headed one into a headless one - cause I´ve got an another S2 6-string headed too.

What do you think about my idea? Is it possible to do it. Or should I ask Rob and Dawn for customize that one for me?

I think you would have to change the whole neck... which seems quite difficult with a neck-through bass. :|

I would be absolutely amazed if this were possible. The amount of work involved would probably not make it cost effective either.

Will be very interested to see photos of the project in progress if you do decide to go for it.

A few days ago I took off the head of my Series 1 6-string - and filled up the holes with polyester. Then I took the design away ... Next week it will get a new polyurethan-clearcoating..... it´ll be amazing....

Have seen that bass on ebay a few times. Looked a nice bass apart from the awful paintjob.
