I just bought MrQ's S2-Classic from him today. My first Status and my first 5-string :D

I've been playing bass (badly) on and off since 1962. Nice to see that lefties have their own corner of this forum!

I'm a fellow lefty but I've always played right hand basses...

At least Status don't charge extra for left hand instruments so that'll help when you want to get another bass, they're very addictive by the way ;)

Thanks for the welcome Fat Rich. I tried to play right handed at the start, because left-handed basses were as rare as hens teeth in the early sixties. But I gave up in the end and converted my Futurama to lefty. At the time my Futurama cost £15 (second hand) and a Fender P-Bass was 94 guineas new for a right handed and 10% more for a lefty - way out of my league.
