For my new Status purchase I need a new strap:D
My existing strap was custom made by myself some 12yrs ago out of a thick sheet of leather, it has those fitted straplock thingy's and has no adjustment as I set it perfect for my own taste and to suit my Warwick.

Do I do it again for the S2 or as I imagine there are some real nice ones available now? Any links anyone?
Thanks

Dan.
* I did see MK wearing a nice chunky padded affair?

I like the Neotech straps.

http://www.neotechstraps.com/category...EGORY_ID=5

They have a neoprene pad that gives a little, helps with the weight distribution. They used to make an extra-lonmg strap that was djustable at both ends, but I don't see those on the site.

The Comfort Strapp is also a good one.

I have this one, it's wide and the quality is well above my expectations.

I find this strap great for strength and durability!

They come in a multitude of colors also.

The only issue I've ever had with them is that sometimes they're a little hard to get off!

Yes, I have to agree, those serve their purpose perfectly, and they are visually appealling as well.

I've been using a Levy's leather strap on all my basses - most are 3" wide, and they make the same in a 2" also. It's adjustable, and has some padding inside.

(I looked for the model #, but I've torn off all the tags - sorry!)
A Stealth 6 for a Streamline 5? Hmmmm.....

Hi, as far as I know the one Mr King plays is a padded Levys strap. I have a black one in 4.5 inch width and the leather is really soft and the padding is just right.

I think this is the one (http://www.levysleathers.com/product;...aps-MSS2-4)

Perhaps an opportunity for Rob to expand his shiny new merchandise range here?

I use the Comfort strapp. I have 3 of them and they are the best straps as they can cope with the 2 monsters... The JayDee and the Alembo!

That's saying something!!

I'm not sure what, you would need some kind of interpreter!!

i'm glad you all agree, it's so tiresome when boys squabble.

yesh, checked out the link, they just don't do anything for me aesthetically, but as i say, they are very, very good.
