Just out of interest and since I haven't come across one on the forum - anybody got (or tried) a Charger (any closet Quo fans out there)?:)

Never actualy seen one owned by someone else before. Im sure there must be a few in the States though. It would be good to see them up and close.

Never played one, but I'd imagine John's signature bass is very like the Series 3000/4000 (I can't remember which!) It's a bolt on SII body with twin J pickups & two band pre, although I remember John saying that he usually plays his passive.

Been a Quo fan since my teens & have never been in the closet :o

You never really want to be known as a 'quo' fan BUT you can't help loving their stuff... I don't care if they only know 3 chords!!! :D

Well !!! what would you expet there, and here is me thinking all musicians respect each other

The charger is a brilliant peice of Kit and it kicks are on stage but the three chord crap really needs to be put to one side like a comedian who tells the same jokes avery gig, IT AINT FUNNY ANYMORE

Just for the record:

If you took time out to take in a QUO concert you would be taken back by John Rhino Edwards's performance with that said BASS

Just now I've bumped in to this thread, pretty tense here...
Anyway I have to admit that one of the reasons I wanted a Status was because of Rhino's kick-ass bass line in "You're In The Army Now"
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses."
