Just purchased a Series I Matrix 5 string from the Bass Cellar in Denmark St - some cosmetic issues but what a steal - £299! Its not quite FPPR but a slightly darker shade of red.

Chris - nice to see you pictured at the Bassworld bash with the Hornet bass - I designed and helped build that actual bass (it was made in a garden shed here in Peterboro and ended up being voted Bass of the year 2001 in the Guitar magazine!) - would loved to have been there but a busy day with gigs and teaching prevented it. Hopefully will make it to the next one - or failing that, we ought to organise a Status day (mentioned this to Rob Green some time ago and he was well up for it).

It is hoped to organise a gathering and Andre and I discussed this on Saturday. We may try to co-ordinate this with the next Bassworld Bash which will probably be in September.

We had 7 Statii members at ash 2 and a good selection of Status basses. Hopefully we will get more at the next one.
