Far better than a Sabre, because neck pickup is in a different position and Stingray pickups are bigger than Sabre PU‘s. Handmade electronics which you can‘t buy anywhere...active /passive switch , mid cut /boost and pickup coil switch : you can use this MM as a Jazzbass, only with the outside or inside single couls of the humbucker PU !
Very versatile bass, you have the original Stingray sound and the correct 60‘ies and 70‘ies Jazzbass sound in ONE instrument. Perfect for studio bass players and for live gigs.

In the description you say "I have owned the bass since new and it does not have a Mark on it.", but the title is "Alembic Mark King as new and signed by Mark King.".

Presumably it had one "Mark" on it then!
