S2 neckthrough :)
BassGyver
Old headed "trussrod-less" neckthrough S2 is home! Or maybe an Empathy one? Is there really a difference between S2 and Empathy basses?

Does anyone know where I can find a serial number? I have no idea of its production date.

Looks like a Series 2. Have a look through 'Catalogues & more in the link at the top of this page. As for serial number, is there anything stamped on the side of the bridge? Or even inside the control cavity.

If the back has the same wood as the front then probably an Empathy. If not it's not.
