Damn Yank
For those in the forum unaware, long time contributor dreambass (aka Ken Smith) has permanently left the building.
Ken passed away peacefully earlier this year after suffering a series of mounting health problems. He was a prolific poster on this forum and an avid Statii collector. I bought a Streamline, Retroglide, Buzzard II, Kingbass and the late great Mike Porcaro's old Series 2000 fretless from him. We traded back and forth for many years and it was Ken who introduced me to the NAMM Show in 2010. I've been attending ever since, though Ken's health issues didn't allow for him to attend in the later years. It opened a whole new world for me.
He was truly a one-of-a-kind individual whose chance meeting on this forum changed my life.
RIP, Ken.

Very sad to hear.

Thank you for the kind words about him.

Peace!

Indeed Ken was a wonderful chap and he also introduced me to Jon at M-Basses in the US that is building me my future 5 string ... Ken will be missed for sure.
RIP Ken
